Thoughts on a Wintry December

In the cold dead December
The Christ Child's birth we celebrate
Help us Master always remember
We need a Pilot to navigate
If we are to sail to better weather
When we want to flourish our climate
We give to Mary the eagle's feather
From the four winds negotiate
Long and loathing heath and heather
Holly and Ivy Crown and populate
May the Spirit us now gather
All in the Way aggregate.

Canadian Don't Fear Winter of Life

Noisy honkers flocks of hundreds
Make their V for victory in the sky
They made it North now fly South
Victory for us is to meet Jesus on High

Victory for us is to daily beat the Devil
To beat any and all temptation to sin
May we make a noise rise up to Heaven
Let all Creation know we know we win

Winged angels will go before us
Saints already have made their way
Raise our voices to join their chorus
Praise to Jesus our lead won the day

Queenship of Mary

If I get into Heaven,
With Mary my Mother;
Imagine the Queen:
Before the throne of God,
Pleads with her Son,
On my behalf,
Please forgive,
All the wrong he's done.
I'm stuck in awe,
With their holiness there,
And can't speak,
To defend myself.
Jesus, with mercy
Says he'll forgive,
And they usher me
Into glorious Heave.
And with more Saints
We burst into praise.
I can't stop thanking
The Father of Love.
The counts are filled,
We, shouting and singing.
Angels and Archangels
Worship the Dove.
Peace so pervading,
All fear is gone,
No evil among us,
No pain in the place,
All are positive,
Mary has persuaded:
Jesus to bless us;
Shed the Light of His face.
The stories we'll tell
To Honour the Father,
Adore the Christ,
And give Their Spirit power!

One Day

One day men will never whimper
One day all ladies will dress modestly
One day we'll promenade down golden avenue
That's not our fate but our destiny

One day no child will need to whine
I don't know if we'll need shoes at all
Just on the food of the angels we'll feed
From a flowing river our cup will be full

One day we wont burn electricity
Our vision is clear there isn't night
No crime will exist in our city
And every wrong will be made right

Come where I'm going no more warfare
Calm as crystal the peace by the shore
No one could count the peoples of the temple
Filled with the shouts praise and singing galore

No one should be one not counted in there
One day our joy will just grow more

At the Chapel, mid-week, I pray for more Adorers; I ask the Lord for more Chapels of Adoration. The hour I first believed, as the hymn goes, how precious did that grace appear: when I had the faith to accept Jesus was present Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity, in the Eucharist, in this Chapel it is, in the Monstrance, here I believed for the first time and was filled with such a sense of calm, of peace, of conviction. Christ the High Priest, had opened paradise, had finished a work in me, had put a bit of heaven in my soul. I’ve never felt such calm, peace, acceptance and assurance before or since. The Lord died - completed salvation’s plan, his work, the Consecrated.

Spy Wednesday ’19 What is really important? That we have a better life in heaven. That we have a better life. We could live for shopping. Lord knows we need things. Or the Wellness Centre; part of holiness is wholesome living. Too many live for the Casino in town or for the strip parlour – shamed to say I was there. Yes, we should be addicted to making life better for all. But one day it won’t be: who did what, but belief in who the Almighty is and what the Redeemer did for us.

Their Spirit will overshadow us. The Almighty will be favourable to us. His Spirit is goodness and mercy. The Son of God forgives our past; brings peace. He gives us that Spirit of Love. Which brings a future and a hope. Not just for that bright day in Glory. But right now, right in my town, my story. The power Who raised Jesus from the grave. Still has the power, us to save. The Spirit that comforts us in our loss. That’s what I’m talking about, God’s the boss. The Holy Three in One, rest in Him. Be yoked with Christ, easy burden, Light in Him. Jesus shared everything with us except sin. Which taken upon himself, the victory did win. So take up your cross, the Spirit brings life. And follow the Saviour won through the strife.
Easter ’19 So I’m sorry. The evidence is overwhelming. The Church has flourished. For a history of two thousand years. My personal experience, we could not do. What we do today, if the Divine Mercy. Was not real, if Jesus were not really alive. If the Spirit had not moved from the beginning. If the Creator’s grace were true, but not lived. If we performed our living for the Lord. And it was not in Him, through Him, and with Him. It would have been and entirely different story. The death devil has lost. The Lord of the living has won. The Lord is risen – He is risen indeed. Hosea 6:1-3 “Come, let us return to the Lord; for it is He who has torn, and He will heal us; He has struck down, and He will bind us up. After two day He will revive us; on the third day He will raise us up, that we may live before Him. Let us know, let us press on to know the Lord; His appearing is as sure as the dawn; He will come to us like the showers, like the spring rains that water the earth.”

3^rd Mar. ’19 Jesus was picked by the crowd from a line-up of Barabbas and himself, so to speak, wrongfully, by us and He says from the cross – forgive. They did not know what they’re doing. Judas, the traitor, didn’t. Pilot, the coward, didn’t. He admitted it as he washed his hands. The crowd, the mob – fickly so, didn’t. Were you there? I’ve done it my way – Hymn of Hell. No, Jesus lived, died, rose again and is coming again, for me! He forgave me from the cross – very God, very Man. Forgive us as we forgive those who are indebted to us. To forgive is divine. Help us, help me. Shrove me. From 600 BC – 400 AD: crucifixion. Globe ’95 “alleged” that He rose again.

Mark 11:12-14, 20-25 So Peter was watching the Lord carefully. Was Jesus saying be careful what you ask God for; you just might change the landscape? Only those who forgive are forgiven! I love the human nature of Christ, my God. Help me to be at peace Jesus, and ask for what I really need, not for something just because I want it, right now. Help me observe You closely. Try to produce good fruit always for when the Master wants it He wants it. Rather than let my leaf wither ask to be forgiven when we fail and forgive all in order that we may be. Pray about everything.

1^st Day of Spring ’19 Disruptive What a nasty man. He upset our temple business. He said His Father is the God of the living, not the dead. As if he talked to Moses and Elijah talked to Him. What a disruptive God. He does not want me to get drunk. Like I’m only to look at my wife? What an inconvenient Truth. We do whatever in the NW and we’re to feel sorry for how it affects the S? Is the Spirit to convict our White Race? Isn’t English god’s tongue? How much do I give up for Christ’s sake? Do I see my brother in the street? Do I weep for my sins? Do I carry the cross?

I Tim 6 Humble ourselves to serve. Paul instructs Timothy and us not to be engrossed in dispute. We are warned of the danger of riches. Faith, love, gentleness, and Lord help us win the fight for righteous, godly, endurance with good works and generous to share, witness, and be content.

In the Presence we find Hope. We return to the Father and it is cause for rejoicing. Have a housing issue – run to St Joseph. And so I begin a Novena to him. First this morning we prayed at Our Daily Bread time for God’s timing. I lift up my families issues to Christ. Holy Spirit, and Angels, guide us.

In the sixty-sixth year of my life I realise how long it took the Lord to find me and grant all his promises to me to come to fruition. I stumbled into Catholic churches, and I was literally staggering into Chapel. Finished with Christianity in my teens and very slow to come back to it in my twenties, in my thirties, and forties, my behaviour started to improve too; so the sudden change, or RCIA, taking place in my fifties was due to the ground work the Master built in me, which continues in my sixties. The work of God continues in all the Church, Sacramentally.
1^st Sat., Apr. ’19 at Greensides Farm, Chapel of Our Lady of Peace. So much turmoil in my life, so much sadness in the world, but the justice of the Prince of Peace brings joy and that calm is felt now, in this place where Mary has appeared and spoken to so many. Marian sites and shrines like Sacred Heart of Mary in Madoc have been visited on first Saturday by numbers. I pray this devotion spreads. I hope this peace goes from here throughout the entire Earth. By the Cross, Jesus won our redemption and reconciles us to our Father, granting us peace. Mary upholds us; extends to us the calm assurance of this peace. She holds the olive branch, the dove of the Holy Spirit.

St. Francis de Sales pray for us. I must not be smug. I must keep in mind it has only been by the grace of God I am spared being in a pit, hell, lake of fire. I may only boast in the mercy of God. Might I be indifferent to what is happening all around me? When one is in the presence of the Bread of the Presence, our Lady means to tell me, like being at a Wedding Feast, where the water is turned into wine, one must not be nonchalant. One may notice this shift in me, from careless to careful, from full of care to carefree. All Glory to You, Jesus. Thanks be to God. Blessed be God in His Angels and His Saints. All praise be to Him. He is my confidence, my old way is vanquished.                                                                                         St. Blaise pray for us. What else but Jesus Death is Celebrated for two millennium? Who else but Jesus has love we know and love for so long? All the Saints in glory have a date they went to Heaven. Their love, like a whirlwind, is Jesus love; sweep us away. Why else would people give, give, give, if there were no crucifixion? When would it matter if Love, had not come down from Heaven? We leave Jesus there on the Holy Cross, a reminder, forever. Where sins are forgiven and Mercy made a Way, where my soul found peace through grace. An amazing throng in the works of that Day.                                                                 10^th Feb. ’19 As it turns out we find ourselves in family. As the Story goes we are adopted heirs of God. Jesus is our brother, his mother Mary therefore is ours. If we forsake our own family, or we never had any to begin with, or they have rejected us, or belong to a family that remained close, we find more family, become closer to our own, when we have fellowship among believers in Jesus, and Communion with the saints on earth and in heaven. All kinds of good Love exists among these believers. It is provision we have from our Father. In providence we have the love of Jesus our Friend. In love we have the friendship of their Holy Spirit, the Wisdom of the women of the Bible, the milk of human kindness.          Chapel – Ruth was David’s grandma. She left her homeland and idols, a widow, to follow and support her widowed mother-in-law. That’s love folks. Mary did not sin. She was full of grace. The Holy Spirit came upon her and remaining a virgin, she bore our Lord Jesus. Her prayers have more Wisdom, than any of ours could ever. Judith and Susanna are not mentioned in all Bibles but they were heroines filled with wisdom and grace who are in our Bibles. Wisdom is of God and referred to as her. Jesus said He wanted to protect Jerusalem like a hen protects the brood. It was Sr.’s life that got me here. God’s love is for all men. To be a man of God, with grace we love. Paul said in Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her,                                                                            Skipping some notes on personal prayer and devotion, perhaps for now anyway. The tradition from Jesus and the early church is prayer and to be gathered together. The church “fathers” gave us many teachings. The mercy of God, when we like the first sinners, or as the Jews, rejected God’s love, is extended to cover my past evil, by the Blood pact of Jesus: grace. No matter how hopeless the case, how messy the past, forgiveness includes all. God calls us all by name. Come home!                                                                               24^th Feb. ’19 So we are to be like God. We are to love, show mercy and be good to even our enemies. God redeemed us; we are to be good to all. Jesus, You know how much I expect to receive in return for everything I do. For dying on the Cross for us You gained nothing for Yourself. Help me to not count the cost. Bless everybody and pray for them. Never return evil for evil. Don’t worry about any debt to me.
