from today and over a year ago

22nd May '20 Expedition Why is there trash in the ocean? Why does love take so long? Why is my heart ever yearning For something so true and so strong? God's love's as deap as the deap! God's carpenter's arms hold me tight. God's spirit is in me revealing. Why naught so long like the night? Why do birds stop their singing? Have we found what we're looking for? Now is the grass ever greening? Here was the long awaited fore! For the time of our need. Fore we go with the wind in our sails. Fore no other to heed? For His will to prevail! Now we have peace with the Dayspring! Here we chart through the chop. His love, this stay, this Spring, Our song begins afresh from the top. Many people have come to Canada to retain their identity; like Ukrainians. Although we have had an almost caste conscious society with our five levels of tax brackets, does keeping up with Jones' or how well off am I matter as much to us as it does to the American's? If we are in danger of losing our Candian identity it is more likely to be to Amercianism through greed. If we are ever to get back our identity as a Charitable, Christian country, which includes Ukranian and French Catholics we need to start by being thankful for what we have, where we are. And it is harder for those in lower income brackets to choose Life to frustrate the issue. So I see it as mostly economic with moral overtones this issue. The traditional family should be the base of our economy not money.

Confessions of a Trust Child

With childlike Faith I trust in Thee, You brought me back and set me free. Things will return to the peaceful state of a sleeping child who sleeps in trust at peace. If not here in eternity. For now so many worldly desires clutter the Way so many voices cloud the Truth I fear things will never be the same as they were in my youth when we knew what it meant to be of Christianity. Our nation, part of Chritiandom knew peace. And security was not just what you needed for a loan then. Where the unborn had rights. And not afraid of being aborted they could not be experimented upon; bettering lives of the living? The betterment of our lives was not our only hope: our only hope is to trust in the Lord and trust in His Divine Mercy, Jesus I trust in You!

My part

My part; I have felt lately is just other social media: hotmail and facebook. When I rarely blog it has been more poetical, less opinion. But the That Man Is You meeting which I joined through zoom yesterday morning and the tv Mass which had a homily to inspire me too has brought this confession to mind. Our culture is to say my part, I'm okay, but we, or I add, in my own thoughts anyway, what's wrong with you. If I do my part I have done all I can do. But I am not just a part, but part of a Body. Christ is the head and I shudder to think what part of the body people compare me to then. Christ did not have a human part and a holy part but one mind, and it isn't as I implied there at the TMIY meeting yesterday morning. He was wholy human and wholy holy at the same time. My part is to become more like Him. So you're okay, I'm not okay. Our culture is making people trans-human. This term is used for robotics or dehuminization and for becoming more like Jesus. If you let the whole man go and emphasise only the physical, although I've found I needn't let go of the physical, and if you let go of the emotional, mental or spiritual, you are not okay. Men need to dwell on the heart, mind and soul. So we will be trans-human in the positive sense of the word. In a world where we are statistics or cogs in a wheel we can take our part, with a whole heart.

Grace For All

Black and White; silver and gold: those adorn Your royal throne room.

All the races of the whole human race, Saints we know and those we don't,

will fill Heaven and bow before Your glory.

We'll all share a different story of how You set us free.

It will be told, how our laurels and our crowns, will be cast down,

as nothing will match Your diadem, of them Celebrated and them unknown.

All poor and humble are to share Your matchless riches.

For all to be emancipated may receive grace.
