My part
My part; I have felt lately is just other social media: hotmail and facebook. When I rarely blog it has been more poetical, less opinion. But the That Man Is You meeting which I joined through zoom yesterday morning and the tv Mass which had a homily to inspire me too has brought this confession to mind. Our culture is to say my part, I'm okay, but we, or I add, in my own thoughts anyway, what's wrong with you. If I do my part I have done all I can do. But I am not just a part, but part of a Body. Christ is the head and I shudder to think what part of the body people compare me to then. Christ did not have a human part and a holy part but one mind, and it isn't as I implied there at the TMIY meeting yesterday morning. He was wholy human and wholy holy at the same time. My part is to become more like Him. So you're okay, I'm not okay. Our culture is making people trans-human. This term is used for robotics or dehuminization and for becoming more like Jesus. If you let the whole man go and emphasise only the physical, although I've found I needn't let go of the physical, and if you let go of the emotional, mental or spiritual, you are not okay. Men need to dwell on the heart, mind and soul. So we will be trans-human in the positive sense of the word. In a world where we are statistics or cogs in a wheel we can take our part, with a whole heart.

Grace For All
Black and White; silver and gold: those adorn Your royal throne room.
All the races of the whole human race, Saints we know and those we don't,
will fill Heaven and bow before Your glory.
We'll all share a different story of how You set us free.
It will be told, how our laurels and our crowns, will be cast down,
as nothing will match Your diadem, of them Celebrated and them unknown.
All poor and humble are to share Your matchless riches.
For all to be emancipated may receive grace.

Portal
The Pandemic is pretty near blowed.
The rioting in the States' pretty well blown.
What next in the news might be seen?
Jesus appear in the clouds?
The way we saw Him go.
This train of thought may show -
How in Western North complancy's grown
We have shared our bread; tried to be good.
But have we been kind to motherhood?
Whatever the sin: are we humble?
The time is ripe to repent and pray!
And like rain pours from a portal
Renew the land after this dry spell.
Or work hard at our Salvation!
Listen to the call of a loon.
You may copy my lay.

Lord of the wind
Lord of the rain, of the sleet, and of the snow,
Lord God, lamb of God; Lord of me.
Lord of the grass, of the field, and of the meadow,
Lord of the road, of the course, and of the walkway;
You take away the sins, away the sins of the World: away the sins of me.
Lord of the calm, of the stillness, and of the song of the robin,
Lord of the morning, of the noonhour, and of the tide of even;
Holy Spirit renw us, Spirit infill us: Holy Ghost give peace to me.
