Laetare'23

Gladness You’d desire to see in me Every 4th Sun. of Lent we call Laetare So like seeing the 1st robin of Spring Rather than I made it through another winter In my old age I’ll see another Season And we’re 1/2 way through this to Easter And all the grace, mercy, and goodness You’ve shown to me; I give thanks And all the promise of glory to be Right now: right here with this new word processor Help me find the words, grammar, eloquence To make music to praise Your Name Like the man born blind, like Saul Help me to be a Paul, a product of Your Love And rejoice again, again say it rejoice.

Septuagesima

Winter bright, star of light; sun of my renewal. Moon of night, all my might, the deep snow, lane furrow. You are the, love of life, the reason; we need one. The halk preys, squirels' plays, the cold air; still there's fun. A time late, a baby, cycle; more: adventure. Where's nature, there is tech, when it's blessed: our venture. They present, Holy Child, they journey to Temple. Dedicate brilliance to a world in darkness. Dawn has come, day is here, illumines, we reflect. All the worlds thy hands hath; we ask more: we'll refract. Diffuse now, the spectrum of our likes and dislikes. Into love as our friend sacrifice for my sins. Heal us Lord from dischord, from our throats raise your praise. King of Life rule out strife; thanksgiving leave in place. Offer up all our care; blessings of all our days Bless us so we shall shine like perfect, like your ways.

Advent '2022

I may not have all I want? But my Pasque I have You. I do not plan a lot for Christmas. A "midnight" Mass suffice. A duaghter home's sure nice. I'd not be caught off guard, To see You coming in the clouds. A new place: new heaven, new Earth With You as our Sun. There we will have more Than what we want now. Know You more, see aright, Live in love, stay in the Light. It is not what we have But who we are: God's child. This year be grateful for that. For more Charity go wild!

St. John Paul the Great's Sat.

Aborttion The reason abortion's the worst evil of our day Is because it is completely giving up on life! I will not take responsibility mothers say, Parents for love's outcome in world's strife? We want sex perhaps without love or feeling Before marriage, why not be gay? We don't have to bring a life for healing More to this earth for heaven's sake today? We've planned on nothing but DNC Not a life we'd love to share? Destroy it, trash it, don't let it be? But this violence goes on unaware! And what's unheard of now? First comes love and then comes marriage, Next opposite sex virgins ask how To bring a baby in the baby carriage? Who can afford God's plan for humans, Not third world, lower castes, Blacks, not us? So let us love, marry to procreate! Let us finance for increasing families, Oh let us love the obstinate, Those not seeing our Way, our homilies. Let us love the unwed, pregnant mother, No matter what she decides her choice; Let us understand same sex marriage other Is God's child too so let us rejoice! Let's adopt a better way of forgiving Those we feel have from us strayed, For we all have given up living Because of all the games we've played. That's why Jeus had to come to save us: We're sent God's Spirit to clear up the mess, We have it from hate, greed, lies and prejudice, God save us from our carelessness! Not to love our adversaries? Our Life and choice with democracies!

Praise

We want to be, pleasing to You, Father, yes we do, yes we do. We want to be, loving You, Lord Jesus, yes we can, yes we can. You are the most loving Spirit, of Them both, from Them both. Teach us Triune God to be, more caring, as Your are, as You were. Help us alway in our sharing, like You we'll be, more like You. Make us always to be praising, Father more, here with all. We will to Your our suffering, lift up, one with You, in Your Name. We will Father, more be praising, only Your, ever You. And trust You all our cares taking, as we do, We worship You. Who are the God, Almighty, All powerful, All seeing. You are the God all knowing, Your are most wise, are most kind. You are the same from age to age, forever one, undivided. Your search from depth to height, and shore to our, shore forever, more we have this assurance, God is Love, never fails. Amen.

God is Everywhere

Where is the God of Jacob He is Spirit Who enlightens all souls Whom was the God of Peter Jesus who we crucified Who was the God of Thomas The resurected Lord who shows wounds When was God Elijah's His voice is still and small Why did His disciples wait for their God So His Spirit did come with a loud rush What did my God suffer for me Christ beaten crowned with thorn How might God taken on His cross Die for me still rise and ascend Could we see God come in the sky Should we be ready to live with Him Would not the God of Magdalene Find us forgiveness Divine Mercy
