Mother of Love
Mother of Love you stand before me
I see the flame of the Spirit like a cloven tongue before our eyes
I see you star of the sea giving us the hope of Jesus
Unto us is given our Eucharistic Bread of Peace
You won reconcilliation our forgiveness our joy
You intercede to your Son for us you gave the world your baby boy
He is our King Lord and Master
He is our peoples' Saviour and strong Deliverer He
is our God and Defender He brings us together you brind us
to Him forever and ever Amen

More Polarization
Is that really ecological? The species can’t survive!
The end is coming! Will Christ find Peace on Earth?
I’ve a big foot print! I’m off the grid!
Nuke power forever! Are there enough windmills?
No wind no sun no power! Solar panels are the wave.
Who introduced that species? Scheduled for extinction.
Big builds big life. No nature – God’s unobserved!
I support fracking. Climate change is real.
It will support life. Control population growth.
Enough pollution control! Support local farmers.
It is free trade. Is it fair trade?
Trucker power! All electric vehicles!
No carbon tax! Enough charging stations?
Co-op farming. Family farming.
Chemicals are needed. Organic farming.
More land fills. Recycle re-use reduce!
Additives are safe. Isn’t it poisoning us slowly?
God will make a new Earth! As it is in heaven?
Conservatives VS Liberals
Conservatives VS Liberals
Dr. shouldn’t end life! Is life sacred?
Is it a Health scare? How many are in mass graves?
How many war vets are homeless? I take offence.
Do Black lives really matter? Every child matters.
I know I’m saved. Never backslid eh?
The Mass is better in Latin. Do you get Eucharistic liturgy?
I get history! Why not vandalize that bust?
Your son is gay? My bishop is gay!
Boy can’t be female! Isn’t not knowing sex okay?
Is nothing sacred? I have a word for that!
Spending is wrong! Isn’t arming spending wrong?
We must be strong! Who looks after the neglected?
That is a male role! Isn’t she a great weight lifter?
She can cook too! I don’t trust men!
Drugs rot your brains! I don’t need a script now!
Work hard! Volunteering is most satisfying.
Where will it end? How long will it take?
Take up arms! Take up arms?
What would Jesus do? Turn the other cheek!

Hardship
O Lord God hear me in my misery
I am besought with ills
Demons of my past and ghouls
Of future difficulties
You have promised to be with me
In my present pain
Renew in my being the joy
Of my youth again
So I my praise You
And worship only You Father
Give glory to Your Son
And own Wisdom to Our Mother
Venerate His adoptive dad Joseph
And honour to Holy Spirit
Till I see Your aid
And hope in you Holy Family
Oh Trinity I know You will be my Companion Who stayed
Like one understands the homily
We are protected by Christ's staff
Jesus rod secures us
Eternal life
We are set free from internal strife

Laetare'23
Gladness You’d desire to see in me
Every 4th Sun. of Lent we call Laetare
So like seeing the 1st robin of Spring
Rather than I made it through another winter
In my old age I’ll see another Season
And we’re 1/2 way through this to Easter
And all the grace, mercy, and goodness
You’ve shown to me; I give thanks
And all the promise of glory to be
Right now: right here with this new word processor
Help me find the words, grammar, eloquence
To make music to praise Your Name
Like the man born blind, like Saul
Help me to be a Paul, a product of Your Love
And rejoice again, again say it rejoice.

Septuagesima
Winter bright, star of light; sun of my renewal.
Moon of night, all my might, the deep snow, lane furrow.
You are the, love of life, the reason; we need one.
The halk preys, squirels' plays, the cold air; still there's fun.
A time late, a baby, cycle; more: adventure.
Where's nature, there is tech, when it's blessed: our venture.
They present, Holy Child, they journey to Temple.
Dedicate brilliance to a world in darkness.
Dawn has come, day is here, illumines, we reflect.
All the worlds thy hands hath; we ask more: we'll refract.
Diffuse now, the spectrum of our likes and dislikes.
Into love as our friend sacrifice for my sins.
Heal us Lord from dischord, from our throats raise your praise.
King of Life rule out strife; thanksgiving leave in place.
Offer up all our care; blessings of all our days
Bless us so we shall shine like perfect, like your ways.
